SpiroSonic USB Weather Station for Environmental Correction
The SpiroSonic USB Weather Station is an environmental monitoring device for spirometry. It automatically records ambient temperature, relative humidity, and barometric pressure, then sends the data directly to compatible spirometry software.
These measurements support BTPS correction, which is required for standardised spirometry. This helps lung function results remain clinically reliable and reproducible.
The device connects via USB and works on a plug-and-play basis. No extra calibration is required after installation. It offers temperature accuracy of ±1%, relative humidity accuracy of ±3%, and air pressure accuracy of ±1%.
The weather station is compatible with SpiroReporter software and fits easily into existing spirometry workflows.
