ResMed AirTouch N30i nasal mask with fabric-wrapped frame
The ResMed AirTouch N30i is a tube-up nasal cradle mask built on ResMed's 30i platform, with a ComfiSoft cushion that pairs a sealing silicone structure with a soft fabric contact surface. It suits CPAP users who want less bare silicone against the skin overnight, while keeping the clear field of view of a top-of-head hose connection.
What the fabric surface changes
- ComfiSoft cushion — the fabric layer sits between your skin and the sealing silicone and wicks moisture away from the seal area.
- Fabric-wrapped SpringFit frame — the flexible frame is covered in soft, breathable material, so the contact points along the cheeks and head are textile rather than plastic.
- Under-nose cradle — nothing rests on the nasal bridge, so glasses, reading or a screen before sleep stay possible.
- Quick-release elbow — the tube disconnects and reconnects without removing or refitting the mask.
- QuietAir venting — exhaled air is diffused instead of leaving as a directed stream.
Cushion and frame size options
The mask is a two-part fit: the cushion size follows the width of your nose, the frame size follows the distance from your nose to the top of your head. The two are chosen independently, so any cushion pairs with either frame.

Using the AirTouch N30i with your CPAP device
Select Pillows in the mask setting menu of your ResMed device. The mask is validated for a therapy pressure range of 4 to 25 cmH2O and is not compatible with AirMini travel devices. The frame also accepts AirFit N30i and AirFit P30i cushions, so you can move between a nasal cradle and nasal pillows without buying a second frame.
Cleaning and replacement schedule
Clean the cushion and the vent area daily after use. Wash the headgear, frame and elbow weekly, by hand, in warm water with a mild liquid detergent, then let them dry away from direct sunlight. Do not place any part in a dishwasher and do not use ozone or UV cleaning devices.
ResMed's recommended replacement rhythm is a new cushion every two weeks, a new frame every three months and new headgear every six months. The fabric sleeve is not removable from the frame, so a damaged sleeve means replacing the frame as a unit.
