How does the Prisma VENT50 Portable Ventilator work?

The Prisma VENT50 ventilates patients via a leakage circuit and additionally via a disposable system with patient valve. Other functions and features in prisma VENT50 include:

• A larger pressure range up to 50 hPa
• Pressure- and volume-controlled mouthpiece ventilation modes (MPVp and MPVv)
• LIAM (Lung Insufflation Assist Maneuver) for cough support and secretion management

The new VENT50 is equipped with a complete alarm management system, integrated power supply unit and a rechargeable battery with a capacity of up to 12 hours.

Who can use the VENT50?

The Prisma VENT50 is perfect for ventilating patients with an independent respiratory drive. It can be used on patients who weigh over 10 kg and have respiratory insufficiency. It can be used in both stationary and mobile applications in both domestic and clinical environments.
