MIR Spirobank II Smart Spirometer
The Spirobank II Smart spirometer leverages modern mobile device technology (iPads & Android) as well as Windows, offering impressive advantages in conducting and processing a spirometry test.
The Spirobank II Smart with Bluetooth & MIR Spiro App comes with ready applications for the Android & OS platform. It allows the performance of the spirometry test in real-time via smartphones & tablets. Free & online software upgrades are available. It includes the ability to transfer data to cloud storage for backup creation or second opinion. It's designed for use with the optional oximetry unit. It's flexible in operation as it can work with either disposable FlowMir® flow sensors (turbines) or multi-use flow sensors. No calibration is required as both sensors are calibrated. It features a high-resolution display with backlight. Operates on a rechargeable battery with a long life (40 hours of continuous operation).
Limitations One of the limitations in completing the spirometry test is the necessary patient compliance during the examination and the difficulty of interpretation. Through a functional approach, the Spirobank II Smart app provides an exceptionally innovative virtual assistant that supports the operator before, during, and after the spirometry test. Patented by MIR, the application improves patient compliance during the test. The difficulty level of motivation can change based on the patient's age and conditions. This feature is particularly useful in primary outpatient care.
The Spirobank II Advanced spirometer has an integrated memory for 10,000 tests. It can also connect to a computer via USB and the winspiroPRO® software, performing the test in real-time. It measures parameters such as FVC, FEV1, FEV1/FVC%, PEF, FEF25–75 via the application on the iPad. Additionally, it can calculate a range of more than 40 parameters when connected to a computer. It performs a test for Estimated Lung Age (ELA) for evaluating the benefits of quitting smoking. The MIR Spirobank II Smart spirometer is an ideal choice for general practitioners, primary care, and specialized respiratory function doctors (specialists in internal medicine & pulmonologists). Choose from the dropdown menu the Spirobank II Smart version with or without the oximetry capability.
