How BiPAP Works

BiPAP machines deliver two levels of air pressure:

• IPAP programm (Inspiratory Positive Airway Pressure): This is a higher pressure applied when the user inhales. It helps to open the airways and make it easier to take a breath.
• Expiratory Positive Airway Pressure (EPAP prorgramm): A lower pressure during exhalation that still maintains open airways but allows for a more comfortable and natural breathing out process.
